Over the 21 years that Raven has been an actress, she’s appeared in several memorable roles. But nowhere has Raven showcased her talent more than in her movies. From all the films that the actress has starred in, we’ve found our favorite three.

1. Doctor Dolittle 2Raven plays the part of a teenage daughter well, and nowhere is this role better portrayed than Doctor Dolittle 2. On the verge of turning 16, Charisse Dolittle and her father (Eddie Murphy) are facing that common parent-child communication gap. From trying to establish a social life, to being too attached to her cell phone, Raven plays up her teenage traits. Equally humorous are Eddie Murphy’s attempts to prevent his daughter from growing up. For fathers and daughters everywhere, Raven and Murphy do well at capturing the miscommunications of family relationships.

2. College Road Trip Surely we can all relate to Raven’s character Melanie Porter and her awkward situation. Melanie plans to take a road trip with her best friends. . . that is, until her dad (played by Martin Lawrence) steps in. James Porter tags on for his daughter’s excursion, making for a comedic tale of father/daughter trips. This film takes our top two spot not only for Raven’s acting, but for her producing abilities as well. The actress was one of seven producers on the Disney film.

3. Little Rascals While Raven didn’t have a large part in this movie, it’s far too cute of a film to ignore. Alongside classic characters such as Alfalfa, Spanky, Stymie and Buckwheat, Raven stars as Stymie’s girlfriend.
