Raven-Symone is well-known for being multi-talented. She’s starred in hit television shows and is in demand as a singer. Where did her talents begin? Her parents thought her exceptionally beautiful and charismatic. Unlike many other parents, Raven’s parents were proved right when she was accepted to an Atlanta modeling agency when she was about one year old.

Her family moved to New York City when she was two. She was soon hired by the prestigious Ford Models. Working on print and television ads helped Raven learn just what the camera was looking for. She also overcame any stage fright or the extreme temper tantrums that can derail many child models’ careers before they even get started.

By the age of three, Ford Models knew they had a superstar. They helped Raven get an audition for the Bill Cosby movie, “Ghost Dad.” Cosby did not hire her for the movie because of her age. Instead, he had her join the cast of hit comedy “The Cosby Show” as his adopted granddaughter Olivia. The rest is history.
